The transformation of healthcare by information technology is a vision shared worldwide and the vision is becoming reality. HIMSS, a global sponsor of Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise [IHE], demonstrates the power of IHE at HIMSS Interoperability Showcases held at conferences worldwide.
HIMSS Interoperability Showcases™ are unique events where vendors and organizations demonstrate standards-based health IT applications such as EHRs, PHRs and Medical Devices in a venue that simulates data exchange potential in and between enterprise settings.
Demonstrate your leadership by joining us at the HIMSS Asia’10 Interoperability Showcase held as part of the HIMSS Health IT Leadership Summit and Health IT Congress 26-28 October 2010 in the colourful City of Daegu, the third largest city in Korea. These events feature conference and education sessions aimed at providing healthcare IT leaders an opportunity to network and exchange ideas in order to advance quality healthcare delivery. Korean healthcare leaders, including coalitions between the government, education and industry are actively supporting the advancement and adoption of interoperable health technologies throughout the country. Our destination, Daegu, has been named a Medical Device City.
One of the top draws will be the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase. The Daegu 2010 Interoperability Showcase will feature products that have implemented IHE Profiles. If your company has implemented IHE or is considering it, don’t miss this opportunity to reach hundreds of Korean health care executives and clinicians at the Daegu Interoperability Showcase! Learn more about the benefits of participation at the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase.
Showcases draw attention: Interoperability Showcases have become a “must see” at conferences worldwide because thought leaders, clinical end-users and health IT technology purchasers know that implementing IHE-based systems will help their organizations meet their goals to improve patient care.
At the recent HIMSS10 Conference & Exhibition in Atlanta, nearly 5,000 people came through the Showcase – nearly 7% of all Conference visitors, as a health IT vendor, you cannot miss that kind of opportunity.
HIMSS Showcases are effective because they don’t just tell visitors about the benefits of interoperable clinical technologies – the visitors are able to see clinically accurate use cases relevant to today’s complete healthcare environments. As a vendor, Showcase participation means you will be able to demonstrate the power of interoperability and the credibility of your technology in a connected environment.
The Showcase will feature several use cases that demonstrate IHE-based solutions. If your applications are based on IHE Profiles - you need to be in the Showcase!
We are looking for great vendors using IHE to add to this list and make the AsiaPac’10 Interoperability Showcase the busiest on the conference exhibit floor. Showcase participation is limited so don’t delay, to learn more, contact Steven Yeo today at syeo@himss.org.
Makes interoperability real: Your systems are featured in a setting demonstrating compelling, realistic, clinically-accurate examples that draw hundreds of visitors. The benefits of this environment are tremendous. Potential buyers and end-users enjoy the unique opportunity to experience real-time, real-data experiences and envision how this technology might benefit their own healthcare environment.
Benefits of Participation for Non-Profit Organizations and Government Agencies HIT initiatives
Sets your organization, agency or initiative apart: Dozens of prestigious organizations participate annually in the Showcase because they value the opportunity to expand their marketing reach. Organizations not a part of the connected demonstration are located in open approachable kiosks that frame the live connected demonstration area. As a result, attendees can easily interact with all Showcase participants and gain the same value as the connected partnerships.
